	Indice dei Documenti		You can love Cattolica in many ways By Guido Paolucci Tasting Cattolica as a child, while building unstable sand castles on the shoreline, which the waves backwash wears away; enjoying it as an adult by spending holidays there again and again in the course of the years, maybe with the wife and the children and later with the grandchildren; brushing past it in the winter fog which softens the outline of streets, hearing the moan of the foghorn coming from the port ; seeing its trees covered with a layer of rime like candy which makes the ears shine ; to anticipate it at the flower festival when nature explodes into thousands of colours ; suffering it in the hope that the south-west wind will soon die down; “touching” it from the window of a train that rushes and doesn’t stop and leaves behind it, in the sea getting farther away, fragments of memories and happy pictures ; narrating it in the books to tell and give others what presses on ourselves ; photographing it to fix the time, to feel an emotion again, to catch a light, a shadow, a colour, a reflection, a profile and for hundreds of other reasons. Just making photos and exhibiting them so that they can be seen and collecting them in a book because they have to be preserved and then spreading them in the sea of the web in order to be found by a curious wayfarer, this means loving. And that’s exactly what the good Antonio Barbieri has done and is still doing with technique, competence, care, perseverance, passion, love and above all great love for his town, Cattolica.
